Taking it slow

Seems like somehow I managed to deceive myself into thinking that I could have the same capacity right now as I did in October or November.  Wrong.  My capacity right now is almost zero.

Note to self, when I’m sick, try not to isolate myself too much but spend quality time with a few people I know very well.  When I’m sick, I tend to ignore anyone and everyone who aren’t involved in any of my tasks, and it can come across as if I’m, well, ignoring them.  However, they might think I’m ignoring them simply, when in fact all I really want to do at said time is to sleep and ingest Chinese cough syrup.

Also a note to self: after a Conference of high task activity and high social activity, do something intensely personal alone.  After Conference I did some skiing, but I also still need some alone time.  I haven’t had enough, and now it’s back to campus time.  Still need to have more time to process and recharge.

Final note to self: remember to thank everyone who have helped me tremendously through the past few weeks.
