Happy Canada day!  We tried to set off fireworks but the matches weren’t that great and the fireworks didn’t shoot up at all.  I’ll wait for the Fourth of July for something great.

We drank Canada Dry, had some (relatively accurate) Canadian trivia, and sang O Canada.  Oh and we gave away red and white candies to random people in our classes and at the Orlando CCC HQ.

And in other news, I relented to some pressure and signed back into Facebook.  I think this might be one of those moderation bits.  Using it is not a bad thing but it could turn into a compulsive thing again.  I felt like I was being obsessed a few months ago.  Now people have been messaging me on it thinking that it was a sure-fire way to get ahold of me.  I guess Facebook has become the mainstream standard.  I knew it before, but I needed time away to break some of its previous strangleholds on my life.
