CSS at its finest

Wednesday, May 26th, 2004

Here’s a really really good read on CSS and cascading theory. Very useful and it’s anti Microsoft (kinda)

NOSEstalgia

I was looking back at the old Carmen Sandiego Forum, man, that is some precious stuff there! This actually occurring only a year ago! Check out glass buttons or latest screens.

Wowowow.. I love that.

Singing in the Rain

Sunday, May 23rd, 2004

Man, I’m totally soaked, my shoes, socks, pants, and jacket, backpack, because I got stuck in the pouring rain while biking to the library~! Haha, I guess it’s kind of fun to do that… I hope I don’t catch a cold.

I had to come to the library to do some coop stuff, get some money, and I still have to buy some groceries for tomorrow’s BBQ feast at Liz’s place. Also gotta get some change for laundry. (THIS is why one needs to go biking in the rain!)

Aight, I’m heading back out, at least the rain is Guelph rain, not Toronto rain.

Why does it always rain on me

Is it because I lied when I was seventeen?…

…and no one ever knows how the rest of the song goes :)

Troy

Wednesday, May 19th, 2004

Wow, the Troy movie was really good. I guess it saves me some reading of “The Iliad” although it’s one of the books I’d really like to read. I can’t believe that I never really knew that whole story.

So what if Brad Pitt was in it? I don’t really associate actors and celebrities with other characters, I just knew he was Achilles throughout the movie. Funny how they didn’t really reveal the name of Odysseus until almost the end of the movie.
